Community Sports Programs

  • Welcome to the Lake Forest High School Community Sports Programs

All community sports programs are organized for the purpose of participation, training, and engagement in athletic activity and competition. These programs provide an introduction to athletics, as well as playing opportunities for incoming 5th - 8th grade athletes.

Participants develop and sharpen their skills in the sports basics, improve their physical condition and practice the fundamentals in game situations.

Our clinics provide a great way for all athletes to improve specific skills.

The Youth Sports Concussion Safety Act is now in effect at LFHS

The Youth Sports Concussion Safety Act (effective 8/3/2015) requires that all athletes must complete the school approved Return-to-Learn and Return-to-Play protocols, be cleared by a physician licensed to practice medicine in all its branches or a licensed athletic trainer working under such a physician (as the athletic trainers at LFHS are), and the parents have signed a Post-Concussion Consent Form. The IHSA has developed a form which LFHS will be requiring for all concussions occurring during the 2016-17 athletic seasons (and beyond), which can be accessed through this link.
