    Step 1: Complete Pre-Registration

    Any parents/guardians who wish to enroll their student(s) in Lake Forest School District 67 must complete the online pre-registration process for each student using the link below. Families new to the District or who have never used Powerschool Registration will need to first create an online account. Enrollment is open to all legal residents who reside within the school boundaries of Lake Forest School District 67

    Step 2: Complete Verification of Residency and Enrollment

    After you have pre-registered your student, you must complete the verification of residency and enrollment process. Please use this link for instructions, and a list of required documents.

    Lake Forest School District 67 can not approve your student’s pre-registration until you have provided the necessary documentation to verify residency and enrollment.

    Step 3: Complete Online Registration and Pay School Fees

    After you have pre-registered your student(s), and verified residency, you will receive a personalized SnapCode email to complete the online registration process and pay fees through PowerSchool Registration.

    The District offers fee waivers for required fees for families who meet the eligibility criteria. Guidelines and application forms are available during the online registration process.

    Electronic Student Residency Verification

    All students registering at Lake Forest School District 67 are required to provide proof of residency. Lake Forest School District 67 has contracted with a third party firm to automatically check information provided during the registration process against electronic records. In the event that residency cannot be verified electronically, a member of our staff will reach out to you to obtain further information and documentation.

    McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act

    Board policy governs the enrollment of homeless children. Any homeless child is immediately admitted to school after the completion of required paperwork in the district office. Homeless children are admitted even if the child or child’s parent / guardian is unable to produce records normally required to establish residency.     Newsletters

    Parents and guardians are subscribed to receive their school newsletter and other school and District news using the email addresses they provided during online registration. If you have any questions, or problems receiving these communications, please email communications@lfschools.net.

    If you are not receiving communications specific to your student, please contact your school office.

    Examinations and Immunizations

    Physical Examination/Immunizations are required for all students in kindergarten, second grade, sixth grade, and all new students entering the District from another state or country. An Eye Examination is required for all new students and kindergarten students. A Dental Examination is required for all new students and students entering kindergarten, second, and sixth grade.

    School Lunch Program

    The lunch program begins on the first full day of school and normally is in operation each full day school is in session. For more information, please visit the Food Services page of this website. Menus are posted online and can be viewed by clicking on the "Menu" tab from each school's homepage.

    Transportation

    Transportation registration/fee payment is completed during the district’s annual online registration. There is a deadline to register and pay for transportation, and an additional $50.00 will be charged per student after the transportation deadline.
